Yr 7 D.T. Christmas Fair raises nearly £600
Year 7 pupils raised £587.82 in the DT Christmas Fair! Pupils have chosen for the money to be donated to Cancer Research UK.
Cancer Research UK is a cancer research and awareness charity. Its aim is to reduce the number of deaths from cancer. As the world's largest independent cancer research charity it conducts research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Research activities are carried out by scientists in institutes, universities and hospitals across the UK.
Christmas is a time for giving and this project has helped the pupils to understand about helping those that are facing difficult circumstances in their lives. I’m sure the money raised will help Cancer Research continue with their pioneering research into new ways of curing cancer.
